Gingerbread Exchange
We first made Ginderbread boys and girls to send to our friends in Maryland for our Gingerbread Man Exchange. After setting them in the hallway to dry, we were shocked when they went missing! So, we all decided to make missing signs and to search the school to see if we could find them. On the search, we found out that our Gingerbread boys and girls had been all over the school. We collected them all and brought them back to our classroom where we packaged them up and sent them with a book about our adventures to Maryland. After a few days, we received a package from Maryland with a gingerbread boy or girl for each of us. We even got to Skype with our friends in Maryland as we both opened our packages.
It was a very fun activity!
